Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to the VirtualGhost website, VG Live, related giveaways, and any account you create by signing in with Discord (the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Guidelines, Giveaway Rules, and — if you use the music — the Music Licence (EULA).

If you do not agree, do not use the site. VirtualGhost may update these Terms; the date at the top of this page is the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.

Who we are

VirtualGhost is a UK music artist and streamer. VG Live is the community site for streams, music, partners, and monthly giveaways. These Terms are between you and VirtualGhost. Discord, Twitch, YouTube, Amazon, Uber and other brands named on the site are not parties to this agreement and do not sponsor the Services unless we say so in writing.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to have a Discord account and to use the Services in your country. Giveaways are for people aged 18 or over. If you are under 18 you may watch and browse, but you may not enter giveaways or redeem codes.

You are responsible for the Discord account you use to sign in. One person may keep one VG Live account. Alt accounts used to farm entries, evade a ban, or dodge a flag are not allowed.

Accounts and linked socials

Sign-in is through Discord OAuth. We may read your Discord profile and the Twitch or YouTube connections attached to that Discord account so we can run giveaways and check for duplicate entries.

Keep your Discord, Twitch, and YouTube accounts secure. You are responsible for activity on VG Live that comes from your Discord login. We may suspend or close an account that looks like an alt, breaks the Community Guidelines, or cheats a giveaway.

The Services

VG Live may include live Twitch and YouTube embeds, a store (when merch is on sale), music links, partner credits, account pages, and giveaways. Features can change, go offline, or be limited without notice.

Third-party players, logins, and shops have their own terms. Buying merch, subscribing on Twitch, or watching on YouTube is a contract with those platforms, not with us, unless we sell you something directly and say so at checkout.

Giveaways

Monthly giveaways are promotions with their own Giveaway Rules. If those rules conflict with these Terms on a prize draw, the Giveaway Rules win for that draw. No purchase is required to enter.

Your content and our content

You keep rights in your own name, avatar, and anything you lawfully submit. You give VirtualGhost a licence to use that material on VG Live as needed to operate the account and giveaways (for example showing your name on an entry board).

The VirtualGhost name, ghost mark, wordmark, crown, streams, and site design are owned by VirtualGhost or used with permission. You may not copy, sell, or scrape them except as allowed by copyright law or with written permission. See the Copyright page.

VirtualGhost music is licensed separately. Creators and channels may use it under the Music Licence (EULA) until we revoke that permission. Businesses are not covered by the EULA — they licence through VMG Records at music@VMG-Records.co.uk. The music lives on VG Live and https://vmg-records.co.uk.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Services: no scraping at scale, no attacking the site, no pretending to be us, no posting illegal content, and no interfering with other people’s accounts. Follow the Community Guidelines.

Suspension

We can refuse, suspend, or terminate access, void entries, and withhold a prize if we reasonably believe you broke these Terms, the Giveaway Rules, or the law. Confirmed alt accounts are excluded from giveaways.

Disclaimers and liability

The Services are provided as available. Live streams, sub counts, and third-party APIs can be late, wrong, or down. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that a giveaway will unlock every month.

To the fullest extent allowed by UK law we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that UK law does not let us limit. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights stay intact.

Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring claims in their UK home courts where the law requires it.
